All potential athletes must register at FinalForms.com, complete all electronic forms, and upload the necessary forms prior to trying out for, or participating in any way with, any RCS teams. Per RCS athletic guidelines: "All athletes participating in TSSAA sports in Rutherford County must register through FinalForms with all required forms. The birth certificate and a current physical and medical clearance are required to be uploaded to FinalForms, along with electronic signatures from the student-athlete and parent/guardian, prior to any level of participation on athletic teams including, but not limited to, tryouts and off-season conditioning."

ATTENTION:
2026 Spring Football practices will start
May 4!
Practices will be held M-Th (5/4, 5/6-5/7, 5/11-5/14, 5/18-5/20)
from 3:45 - 5:30 @ CHMS
(Due to no school for students, there will be NO PRACTICE on Tuesday, May 5)
 
Interested student-athletes should wear athletic attire and
bring both a pair of cleats and indoor tennis shoes for practices.

Spring game/scrimmage vs WBMS @ Riverdale HS
5:30 PM
 
Summer Conditioning for the 2026 Football season will start
June 2 - 18
Conditioning days will be 
3 days per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays
8:00 - 10:00 AM at CHMS.
Please drop off / pick up student-athletes at the football locker room area.
 
TSSAA Dead Period 
June 20 - July 5
 
2026 Football Season practices start July 6th
7:45 - 10:45 AM
 
There are NO tryouts for 6th grade football!
Incoming 6th grade student-athletes are NOT REQUIRED to 
tryout for CHMS Football.
If they have met all FinalForms / Medical requirements,
ALL 6th graders are automatically in our program.
 
 
 
 
 
If your student-athlete does not have a FinalForms account
from the current ‘25-‘26 school year, a FinalForms account
must be created, along with a physical.

All student-athletes that are interested in participating in football at CHMS must create a FinalForms account and have an updated physical for the '25 - '26 school year.
