CHMS Disc Golf
Come join us on Wednesdays we have school, from 3:15 until 5:00 for Disc Golf. We will introduce you to the fastest growing sport, Disc Golf. You will have the opportunity to learn the rules, how to play, different strategies and enjoy some time with others playing Disc Golf. Our goal is to build your skills so we can have a competitive disc golf team that can compete against other schools and possibly enter local Professional Disc Golf Association sanctioned tournaments.
Each player will need a minimum of three discs, a driver, a midrange and a putter. Students not cooperating will not be allowed to participate. Our Fall schedule is listed, it will be an opportunity to learn and grow in the sport of disc golf. We play in the spring in a more competitive environment at school and at Barfield Park.
All potential club members must register at FinalForms.com, complete all electronic forms, and upload the necessary forms prior to trying out for, or participating in any way with, any RCS teams. Per RCS athletic guidelines: "All athletes participating in TSSAA sports in Rutherford County must register through FinalForms with all required forms. The birth certificate and a current physical and medical clearance are required to be uploaded to FinalForms, along with electronic signatures from the student-athlete and parent/guardian,prior to any level of participation on athletic teams including, but not limited to, tryouts and practice." In order to participate you must also have your physical up to date. For the physical, it must state that the student is cleared to participate in sports with no restrictions.
Please ensure you have all forms filled out on Final Forms* before coming to practices. Children without a cleared Final Forms account will NOT be allowed to try out during summer and will have to try again after school starts in August.
