BEST BUDDIES
Best Buddies is a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
OUR CHRISTIANA MISSION
To help support inclusive friendships for our most severe/profound students that need help making friends and to work towards a more inclusive community.
Why Best Buddies?
We want to help foster: Inclusion, One-to-One Friendships, Community Involvement, and Leadership Development.
How will CHMS do this?
• Gain Interest- Encourage students to participate.
• Match Pairs- one-to-one friendships.
• Participate- Host events and activities in and/or out of the school setting.
