Welcome to the CHMS Library.
My name is Shannon Minner and this is my 23rd year as a teacher-librarian. When I'm not reading I enjoy hiking, traveling, and camping with my family. This summer we are traveling to Alabama and Mississippi to look at colleges for my oldest son. My oldest is a junior in high school and my youngest is a freshman.
Fun Fact: I am also in school. I am working on my Ed.S. in Reading from Arkansas State University.
I read a wide variety of genres but my favorite genre is mysteries. I have always loved scary things so it should be no surprise that my favorite holiday is Halloween. My second favorite genre is historical fiction. I love learning about history.

Hello! My name is Heidi Lamoreaux. This is my first year with CHMS as the library EA. We moved here three years ago from Nevada and love it so much. My family and I often travel to neighboring states but plan at least one big trip a year outside the country. This summer we plan to visit Iceland and France.
I don't have a go to genre that I prefer to read. I think there is something to read in each for anyone. I have discovered Novel in Verse and tend to pick those formats up more.
I love being here in the Library with Mrs. Minner. She is an amazing Librarian and Teacher. If you need help finding a book, we are happy to give recommendations.
