Thank you to all of the wonderful students who auditioned for both our cast and our stage crew. You all made our final decisions very difficult, so well done. :) If this year is not your year, please do not be discouraged, we would love to see you back again next year!
Congratulations to our cast and crew. Our first rehearsal will be Tuesday, October 10th (first Tuesday back from fall break) right after school. We will end rehearsal early for a parent meeting beginning at 4:30 and ending at 5:00 PM. Students and families can then stay at school for our STEAM night! When aliens invade a small town and abduct the Greenville High School football team in order steal their “brain jelly,” it’s up to some cheerleaders, their soccer star friend, a self-proclaimed sci-fi nerd, and “the new girl” to save the hapless boys — and the very world as we know it!
The mysterious aliens announce plans to abduct the “ballfoot” players and leave them lobotomized! Fortunately, nerdy Gilda has a plan — it’s all spelled out in a book by her favorite sci-fi author. Using tinfoil, smoke bombs, grit, wit, and good old-fashioned school spirit, the cheerleaders take on the aliens in an epic battle. Will they all live to tell the tale? Thanks to a popular household dessert, maybe so!

Cheerleaders
ALI -.very recently had to step up and become head cheerleader. Personable and popular. Often followed, but still figuring out how to lead
MARGARET -enthusiastic about life, school, and cheerleading. She puts the “c” in chipper and crafty. There isn’t a problem or project she won’t smile and craft her way out of
LESLIE -wins the science fair every year. Joined the cheerleading squad to diversify her extracurriculars for college applications
MAYA -loves cheerleading, make-up, and blowing things up with Mom and Grandpa on the weekends
CAROL -verges on obsessive love with her boyfriend, Tig
SAMANTHA -Ellen’s BFF. More than a little bitter she wasn’t picked as head cheerleader. Distrusting at first, then fiercely loyal
ELLEN -most talented gymnast on the squad, but shy. The only person she speaks audibly to is Sam

GILDA -not like the cheerleaders at all. Not even a little bit. The school’s official meet and greeter, but only because her mom made her take the job. Reads sci-fi novels with a fervor. Fast talker
BEA -new girl. Moved to Greenville with her dad after parents split
Football Players
MINDY - yes, a girl. Football team kicker and soccer team captain; adrenaline junkie
REBEL -captain and quarterback. Enjoys his role as a popular jock and doesn’t want to stray far from that script. A little afraid of girls
RIVER -wide receiver; football is his life
GRIFFIN -tight end. Life of the party. Doesn’t see college or even leaving town in his future. Trying to enjoy high school as much as possible before he has to grow up
TIG - tackle. Madly, crazy, stupid in love with his girlfriend, Carol
Aliens
SIRIUS -ancient alien. Powerful leader of the expedition
KULPER -another ancient. Second in command. Very loyal to Sirius
GAMMA -another ancient. Researches life and culture on other planets
CANOPUS -young. Craves Sirius’s approval —and the promotion that would hopefully come with it
DENEB -also young. Lowest ranked alien on the ship. A true follower
EPSILON -also young, but curious. The only 63one sympathetic toward humans
